Pan Roasted Chicken & Potatoes

This meal turned out so easy and delicious we will be making it again soon. The cook time was 1 hour at 375 degrees in the oven, prep time was 5-10 minutes and mainly because I peeled the potatoes.

What you need:

  • Baking Sheet

  • Half a Chicken

  • Potatoes cut into 1/2 inch chunks

  • onion flakes

  • garlic salt

  • basil for the potatoes

  • 1 T butter to put on the chicken after it comes out of the oven

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Place the chicken on the center of the cookie sheet and lay the potatoes around the chicken. I seasoned the chicken with the onion flakes, salt and garlic salt and seasoned the potatoes with the same but added basil too. Place the pan in the over for 1 hour at 375 or until your meat thermometer in the thickest portion of the meat reads 165. When you remove from the oven allow the meat to rest for 5-10 minutes to let the chicken cool slightly before cutting. This will help the juices stay in the meat making it taste amazing.

Enjoy!
